Been There Before

"'Today we are all Philadelphians,' Kevin Cullen, metro columnist for the Boston Globe, told [Daniel Rubin of the Philadelphia Inquirer]. File this under: The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Hello, Pedro. Nice to see you taking on the Yankees - again.

Well, Dear Criss, my Phillies prediction is half-way coming true, so far. They're in the World Series. Now they only have to win three more games. They embarrassed you yesterday. Whoa. And their pitcher made y'all look a little silly. He's a little strange but fascinated me. I'm really excited about this series. If they pull off a win tonight, they have a chance to win it all quickly in Philly. Don't drag this back to NY. Don't be fools.

On a Sox note, the bench coach, Brad Mills, went to the Astros to become the manager. Do we have an opening for 'Tek? Would he even want this? But then some of the other coaches there have more experience (i.e. John Farrell). But who knows! The Globe wrote, "Asked if he might turn to an internal candidate as his next bench coach, Francona said, 'I hope so. I really hope so.'" Just don't let him go. Come on!!

I'm so sorry for being Brett Favre's PR person lately, but he'll be back in Green Bay for the first time as a - gulp - Viking. That's gonna be good. This season is actually turning out to be very interesting.

Phillies-Yankees still tied in the sixth. Give us a break down of the results.
