Watch Out!

Whoa, Dear Criss, I wouldn't want to be the one cutting you off on the road today, because that posting was all screaming and yelling! I mean Denis Leary should narrate that thing. Listen, you can defend your bozos all you want. Doesn't change the fact that your team is extremely disfunctional. SO WHAT if Manny wants to come late every year? So what if we have to hear me complain about Manny and his nonsense mid-season? Deal! And you know what I'm updaet about? No more Corey Dillon on the Pats. What is wrong with them not keeping good players?

You know what's sad? Another Bronco dying. What a sad year for the Broncos. It's a little freaky.

On a lighter note, I'm just counting the days (one week from tomorrow) until I hit the road for Spring Training! I am soooo excited! I have a new phone with a camera on it. I now know not to eat the pizza at the stadium. I know I need to save lots of cash (well, a small budget) for the stadium store. I'm in good shape - except for the saving cash part. =)

So maybe you'll be a little calmer next time you write. Hee, hee, hee. Oh no, Marky Mark didn't win the Oscar. Booooooo! I was rooting for him.

Can We All Get Along?!?!

The media is obsessing about the whole Jeter-Rodriguez issue, when in fact, there isn't any! They've said that in a million different ways! Let it go people!

So, they're not as close as they use to be. WOW! What a shocker! Who's remained close to every person they've ever known? Nobody! Don't make me use more exclamation marks, Rox! Stop me!!!

I feel better now that I got that out of my system. I won’t even go on the whole Barry Bonds issue! Cheater!

Baseball is almost here! Everyone is reporting to camp on time except for Manny Ramirez. What a shocker! He does have a valid excuse this time unlike previous occasions… his mom is very ill. Our prayers to her.
Bernie - please, please, please give us one more year! ONE MORE YEAR!!!!

A new report surfaced stating that there was no alcohol or drugs in Lidle’s body at the time of death. That’s a great thing except that it doesn’t make any difference, does it? And the Yankees will wear a black band on their left sleeves for the year in his honor.

Status of Golden Boy Image: Shattered - Well, Take 2

So what's it like to have kids?

Well, old chap, it's a lot of responsibility. I love getting away here on the links for a little R & R with the guys.

Although, when you start swinging, you can't help but think about the crying, the diaper changes, the excessive amounts of baby clothes, the dog barking, the toaster burning, the wife yelling...

Did you get spit up in your eye, old chap? Oh, no, I forgot we're out here on the greens. It'll be loads of fun. Look, you're laughing already!
-----
I didn't know, Dear Criss, until my sister yells out, "Did you hear..." just as I read your blog.

Well, yes, imagine breaking that news to Gisele. Are we sure it's his baby? Whoa! What is happening? Mr. Beloved QB?! I don't even have words, but apparently you've got plenty, followed by hysterical laughter.

Oh, wait!

If you didn't like my previous post, you will hate this one, Dear Roxy!
This is from AOL Journals... Please proceed with caution.

Fumble!

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan broke up in December. Almost immediately come reports that Gisele Bündchen is following Tom around the country. The two start dating. No problem, right? Now Liz Smith of the New York Post is reporting that Tom & Bridget's split was maybe a little too amicable: Bridget's three months pregnant. What's a Super Bowl hero to do? Does he leave one of the world's most beautiful women to be with his baby's mama? Or does he stay with Gisele and be one of those weekend dads? Oh, wait ... he works weekends. Well this is awkward. What would you do?

Yes, you read that correctly... Bridget is pregnant with Tom's baby! Maybe it's time for Gisele to go crying back to Leo! You should know I'm having a blast with this one!!!

I don't think I have anything else to write... this pretty much sums it up for me today!

Marching to the Beat...

Oh, man, Dear Criss. You had to go find a picture. Then you had to buy me a perfume/cream set from Victoria's Secret (I loved it, really, I promise). Next, you're gonna make me babysit your dog that you've re-named "Gisele." What else have you got?

So, I never minded Hardaway, but it's way too much Hardaway in the news. Can we talk about other things like us actually liking the same song or the same anything? So what's the story about Mariano Rivera and his threats to go to the Red Sox if his contract isn't re-negotiated (according to the NY security guard at work)? Did you further investigate that? While it pleases me immensely, I don't want your stinkin' Yankees.

And while I'm glad Schilling should be back in '08, I hope this isn't like a Cher going away tour. But really, I like Schilling so much, I can deal. Maybe Matsuzaka will be at on of my Spring Training games. Listen, Varitek better plan to be at both! He could use the tan!

Where's Baseball?

I havent' watched sports since the Superbowl, Dear Roxy. And that's huge for me!

There's just nothing out there... except for the Heat game I watched Sunday afternoon. It's boring without sports.
Talking about basketball, how about those comments Tim Hardaway had about homesexuals? I never really liked that guy and that's is just icing on the top. Ignorant!
BTW, I thought you might like the picture I posted. I know how much you like Brady's new girlfriend.

Baseball season can't come fast enough.

PS: I know you have Steve in your cubicle at work now ;)

No Football - That's a Problem

The Steve Young cut-out is not lurking about, Dear Criss. It comes out for special sports occasions. Remember that commercial with the Brett Favre-obsessed woman who has him in the living room for games? Well, I'm not sure if I'm her, because Steve had already retired when I received the thing as a gift. I'm sure when it all settles down and I think back, I will kick myself for not skipping work and finding Steve. =)

So, I really miss football, and the thought of Spring Training isn't making it better yet. What do I do? You so should've bought Ft. Myers tickets to see Red Sox - Yankees. What a fan you are. =) In the meantime, let's hear it for BU hockey & Beanpot! BC SUCKS! BC SUCKS!

Oh! Movie Review: The Guardian. Two thumbs up for the Coast Guard flick. Mad about the ending, but I liked the movie overall.

In Other News...

It's no longer about the Colts, although I wouldn't mind, Dear Roxy.

The Yankees are going to be hosting the 2008 All-Star Game! It's going to be extra special since it'll be the last year the Yankees will be playing in the House that Ruth Built! It's so sad :( *tear*

I can't wait for baseball season to start... I can just smell it - the grass, the tart, the peanuts and crackerjacks! Yummy :)

Back to football for a minute. What's the deal with you and K-Fed? Out of all people, you stalk K-Fed? You never cease to surprise me, Rox. I mean, your Steve (you know?... the one whose life-size cut-out you have next to your bed) was in town! You could've ran over to the ESPN booth during lunch and you didn't! And you call yourself a fan! Shame on you. LOL K-Fed!

Stunned!

Somebody Get the Monkey off His Back

Well, good for you, Dear Criss. You got your ring, Peyton can be happy, and we can look forward to seeing each other in the playoffs next year. Hee, hee. No, really, I'm happy for Dungy. You guys have been trying for a while. Did you hear the suggestion that McNabb go to Chicago if Garcia is the starter in Philly? Whoa, but I think it'll be good forDNabb. I can see him fitting well in Chicago - and maybe even winning it. And I think there's no doubt Garcia will start.

What's not so good was that my only celebrity sighting was not a player or a broadcaster from ESPN or something. No, it was KFed. I'll tell you all about it sometime. It was pretty lame-o. Steve Young's in town, and who do I see...

So Michael Irvin finally makes it into the Hall! Good for him. I don't like him as a Cowboy (no self-respecting Niner fan would like a Cowboy), but I get a kick out of him as a person. He is a character! I'm really happy for him. He's great every Sunday with Berman and the crew. Steve and Michael couldn't be more polar opposite. We need to get Steve back in the studio next to him like previous years. That makes for great ratings.

Wow, this is all about being happy! So I guess it's just baseball from here.

The Colts are Champions!!!

The Colts are the 2007 Superbowl Champions...
.. and I couldn't be happier, Dear Roxy.

Peyton is one of the best quarterbacks who's ever played the game, and now he has his Superbowl win and Superbowl MVP to go along with all of his other accolades.
This couldn't have happened to a better quarterback and an even greater Coach. I couldn't be happier for Manning and Dungy.... and for the rest of the team of course (Harrison, Wayne, Saturday, Utecht, Vinatieri etc.)
Congrats to the Bears for a great season as well. Lovie Smith is a great coach and I'm sure this won't be the last time we see him and his team succeed.
But this is the Colts time! And hopefully they'll be more to follow!!!!

WOO-HOO!!!!!
